SUBSTANCE: method includes X-ray examination of bones of men of preclimacteric age and liable to chronic fluorine intoxication for detection of osteoporosis; additional trepanobiopsy from ridge of iliac bone and histologic examination of trepanate. Osteal fluorosis is diagnosed by detection of symptoms of spongiogization of compact bone tissue and X-ray diffusive osteoporosis.
