abstract |
FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is new ethylene copolymer with at least one comonomer which is selected from alpha-olefins of general formula CH 2 =CH-CH 2 R wherein R is hydrogen atom or linear, branched or cyclic alkyl captioning from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; content of alpha-olefin comonomer units varying from 1 to 20 mole %. Molar percentage of alpha- olefin comonomer ((%α)) and comonomer density (D) are determined by the following relationship: %α+15D141. Also described are method of preparing comonomer and new catalyst. Method makes it possible to obtain above- mentioned copolymers having improved composition homogeneity. The resulting catalyst has low activity with respect to alpha-olefins. This enables one to handle liquid monomers to prepare comonomers copolymers having good morphological and physical parameters.
