abstract FIELD: organic chemistry, herbicides. SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of inhibition of weed growth in the damage location by treatment the latter with 2,6-substituted pyridine. Invention relates to the use of the compound of the formula (I) as 2,6-substituted pyridine where X means oxygen atom; A means pyridyl or pyrazolyl group optionally substituted with halogen atom, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl or halogen-C 1 -C 6 -alkyl; B means 5- or 6-membered cyclic hydrocarbon, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 2 -alkyl group optionally substituted with halogen atoms, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl or halogen-C 1 -C 6 -alkyl or B means one of the value indicated for A; R means halogen atom or C 1 -C 6 -alkyl; m = 0 or 1. Invention describes new pyridines substituted with heterocycles, methods of their synthesis and herbicide composition based on compounds of the formula (I).
