| abstract |
FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: method includes percutaneous drainage of echinococcous cyst under control of ultrasonic examination by needle-catheter through liver parenchyma. Germicide is used in form of aqueous solution of 30-86% glycerine with 10% solution of Demerol. Exposure takes 3-10 min. Aspirating channel is widened by bougies. Then, microscopic control of cyst contents is made for presence and viability of echinococcus germinal elements. Introduced through widened channel is extirpation device. Then, chitin membrane is removed from cyst. Thin drainage is left for closing residual cavity. EFFECT: reduced operation injury. |
