abstract FIELD: medicine; applicable as means for surgical operations on pancreas in anatomical interlobular resections. SUBSTANCE: introduced during operation, for preparation of lobules, into interlobular spaces is 3% aqueous solution of methyl cellulose in form of gel which in dissection of pancreas capsule will not flow out. Used means allows more accurate differentiation of interlobular spaces and promotion of reduction of operative injury and hazardous development of pancreatitis, and considerable reduction of labour input and duration of anatomic interlobular resection.
