FIELD: biotechnology, antibiotics. SUBSTANCE: invention presents the completed effective process of producing and isolation of 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic acid through 2-(carboxyethyl- -thio)-acetyl- and 3-(carboxymethylthio)-propionyl-7-amino- -deacetoxycephalosporanic acid using the transformant strain of Penicillium chrysogenum expressing expandase in combination with acyltransferase. Method involves the use of 3-carboxy- -methylthiopropionic acid as a precursor of by-side chain of the end product. 7-Aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic acid is an intermediate compound used for production of cephalosporins.
