FIELD: organometallic compounds. SUBSTANCE: new organometallic complexes of lanthanoids with well defined stoichiometry are provided to be used in stereospecific polymerization of unsaturated monomers. They are characterized by general formula ME I (OR) 3 •(ME I R 1 R 2 R 3 ) x , wherein ME denotes metal with atomic number between 57 and 71; OR alkoxy group; ME I aluminum; R 1 ,R 2 ,R 3 are linear or branched C 1 -C 10 -alkyls; and x = 3 or 4 depending on type of alcoholate involved.
