abstract | FIELD: organic chemistry, dyes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new materials used for dichroic photopolarizers making based on organic dyes. Polycyclic organic dyes are used as a film-forming component. These dyes are able to form lyotropic mesomorphic phase and used for additional use of modified addition also. For the latter low-volatile low- and high-molecular compounds containing different functional groups (OH, COOH, CONH 2 , NH, CHO, CO and others) and different lacquers can be used. Obtained material is used as a base for making dichroic photopolarizers that exhibit yellow, red and gray color of high polarization indices (15, not less).
