titleOfInvention | Material for artificial liver, method of utilization thereof, and artificial liver |
abstract | FIELD: internal diseases. SUBSTANCE: material containing cytosol with microsomal and mitochondrial fractions of liver is suspended in distilled water at ratio 1:(14-20) and osmotic exchange between suspension obtained and whole blood of patient suffering from acute hepatic insufficiency is performed through semipermeable membrane. Apparatus involved in this procedure contains material-keeping reservoir provided with stirring means and oxygenator, hepatic material suspension and blood transportation means, tubular exchange module with semipermeable membrane, and pipelines ensuring separately feeding blood and suspension into module and subsequent return of treated blood to patient and suspension into reservoir. Membrane has pores passing particles with molecular weight up to 10000-12000. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of artificial liver. 7 cl, 2 dwg, 15 tbl, 2 ex |
