FIELD: organic chemistry, steroids, vitamins. SUBSTANCE: invention describes new analogs of vitamin D of the general formula (I) where X - hydroxy-group; R 1 and R 2 - C 1 -C 4 -alkyl; Q - a simple bond being having hydroxy-groups can be protected in the form of trimethylsilylhydroxy- or tetrahydropyranylhydroxy-group. These compounds show anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effect and strong activity directed to induction of differentiation and inhibition of unwanted proliferation of some cells also. Invention describes also a method of synthesis of the above indicated compounds, a pharmaceutical composition and a method of treatment and prophylaxis using compounds of the formula (I).
