abstract |
FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hot polluted gas under superatmospheric pressure conditions is passed through particle separator to form cake on the separator surface, while, immediately before or after separation, polluted gas receives a reducing agent such as NO x . Contact time of reducing agent added is prolonged owing to low gas velocity (for example, ca.1 to 50 cm/s) when passed through cake under elevated pressure. Separation is carried out in a separate pressure pot at pressure 2 to 100 bar, and reducing agent can be added in many points (corresponding to each filter element in pressure pot) or in one ore more points immediately before pure gas coming out of pressure pot (commonly added on turbine). EFFECT: enabled effective removal of NO x with no essential growth in N 2 O, CO, and NH 3 emission. 25 cl, 8 dwg |
