abstract FIELD: measurements technology. SUBSTANCE: devices and process are used to determine temperature of liquidus of melts. Cooling curve of melt filling vessel is determined. Sensor measuring temperature of melts includes vessel and thermal element. Vessel has at least one support in the form of strip or wire. It also has hole in its top. Thermal element is positioned in vessel made from metal. Such design of vessel makes it feasible to generate reproduced measurement results with high accuracy. Device measuring temperature includes sensor which one support as minimum is fixed in bushing on side of vessel facing outwards. Bushing is releasably connected to holder. Given design of device ensures high stability and simplicity of manipulation. Process of measurement of temperature of liquidus of cryolite melts in vessel consists in vibration during measurement of cooling curve of cryolite melt. This results in homogeneous solidification of cryolite melt. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements. 20 cl, 4 dwg
