abstract | FIELD: chemical technology, polymers. SUBSTANCE: for inhibition of polymerization of diolefinic hydrocarbons a substance obtained by oxidation of 2,2', 6,6'-tetramethyl-4-oxopiperidine is used. This substance has the following composition, wt. -%: 2,2',6,6'-tetramethyl-4-oxopiperidine-1-oxoyl 55-92; 2,2', 6,6'-tetramethyl-4-oxopiperidine 4-35; 2,2',6,6'-tetramethyl-1-hydroxy-4-oxopiperidine 1-8, and impurities 1-9. Inhibitor is used at concentration 0.005-0.10% (preferably 0.01-0.1%) of diolefinic hydrocarbons mass. A solution of the above indicated oxidation product in an organic solvent can be used as an inhibitor also. New method of inhibition in processes of isolation of diolefinic hydrocarbons by rectification ensures to exclude polymer formation at rigorous regimes of working.
