FIELD: organic chemistry, amino acids. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of amino acid of the formula (I) where R 1 - hydrogen or acyl; R 2 - hydrogen, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl possibly substituted with alkoxyl, halogen, phenyl or alkylsulfonylamino-group, or thienyl possibly substituted with halogen; m and n = 0, 1 or 2; J - a group of the formulas (A) , (B) , (C) , (D) , (E) where R 3 - hydrogen, carboxy-protected group; R 4 - hydrogen; Y 2 - a group CH 2 , -S- or -O-; R 10 - hydrogen or phenyl; R 11 ,R 12 - hydrogen, lower alkyl; R 13 - phenyl or a group HSO 2 R 18 where R 18 - hydrogen or lower alkyl; R 14 ,R 15 - hydrogen, or their pharmacologically acceptable salt that show inhibitory activity with respect to angiotensin I-converting enzyme.
