abstract FIELD: animal farming, in particular, compensation of iodine deficiency in sow organism. SUBSTANCE: method involves compensating iodine microelement in sow organism through the whole reproduction cycle by single implanting of iodine for full growing cycle in an amount of 21-24 mg per beast. Implanting is effectuated 18-20 days before insemination after appearance of sexual heat signs. Method benefits egg cell development and insemination ability and, in the future, fetus growing.
