abstract |
FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: phosphorus-modified epoxy resin with epoxy number of 0.2- 1 mole per 100 g is prepared by reacting polyepoxydiene with at least two epoxy groups per molecule selected from polyglycidyl ethers from multiatomic ethers and from multiatomic phenols, products of hydrogeneration of said phenols and/or novolacs with pyrophosphonic acids of formula (I) wherein R 1 is C 1-10 hydrocarbon residue and/or incomplete phosphonic acid esters of formula II: wherein R 1 is C 1-10 hydrocarbon residue; R 2 is C 1-10 alkyl, aryl or aralkyl in inert diluent or mass. In addition to nonflammability, the resulting phosphorus-modified epoxy resins have high storage stability.
