abstract FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes chloromethyldiaryloxiranes I: R 1 R 2 wherein and are independently hydrogen, halogen, n and m are 1,2 or 3, which are useful as intermediate products for synthesis of azolylmethyloxiranes having fungicidal activity. Compounds of formula I are prepared by epoxidation of corresponding diarylallyl chlorides III.
