abstract FIELD: nuclear power engineering; production of medical isotopes. SUBSTANCE: reactor has vessel 1, heat-transfer apparatus 9 placed inside vessel and used to cool down fuel solution, radiolytic gas regeneration system connected to pipes 12, safety system elements placed in sleeves 10, and isotope separation system connected to pipes 13. Novelty is that reactor has, in addition, shell 2 with bottom 3 whose bore houses mixing chamber 4 and nozzle 5 communicating with pressure pipe connection 6 of pump mounted outside reactor vessel. Bottom edge of intake pipe connection of pump is mounted below shell bottom; heat-transfer apparatus is installed between shell and vessel.
