titleOfInvention Vehicle winding energy absorbing fastening systems
abstract FIELD: automotive industry; safe plastic windows. SUBSTANCE: proposed system and material of window should hold passenger in vehicle at low and medium speed of head impact preventing traumas of head and cuts. High modulus transparent thermoplast with abrasive resistant coating is used for windows. Window is fastened in automobile window aperture by one of several methods. Fixed windows should be held in vehicle under normal operating conditions and provide sealing against weather. Frame for sliding windows should be furnished with sliding guide and provide sealing against weather. Slot or cut in window material inwards from edge in combination with fastening systems facilitates safe removal of plastic window. By selecting thickness of winding and specific method of window fastening, plastic window can be made for pushing outwards. Thanks to it window remains intact, and head of passenger is not injured at impact. System of fastening is developed to provide pushing the window outwards and its separation from vehicle in safe manner. Zone of tear off along slot cut out or provided by cast moulding in window. Window breaks and all its fragments are safely removed from window frame owing to breakage along slot. EFFECT: enhanced safety of passengers. 13 cl, 6 dwg
