abstract | FIELD: cellulose filament production. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming filaments from solution of cellulose in amino oxide in warm state; cooling and placing filaments in settling tank for settling solved cellulose. Cooling is carried out in laminar gas flow. Apparatus has cooling gas supply device and spinneret with spinning openings arranged in annular path for forming annular filament yarns. Cooling gas supply device is positioned centrally of circle defined by spinning openings. Construction of cooling gas supply device allows laminar flow of cooling gas to come into contact with filaments for cooling them.
