abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying eximer laser cornea ablation to a large depth of down to 120 mcm all over the whole cornea surface excluding peripheral zone of 1.0 mm width. Soft bandage contact lens is used during 2-6 weeks of postoperative period for stabilizing regenerating epithelium layer. EFFECT: prevented cicatricial barrier formation in anterior corneal stroma.
