titleOfInvention Method of manufacturing corundum ceramics
abstract FIELD: construction ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method is designed to provide material for manufacturing wear and chemically resistant parts of equipment to stand high static loads. When preparing corundum ceramics batch with reduced sintering temperature (1500-1550 C), silica (92-96 wt %) is used which is mixed with glass additive-mineralizer (3-6%) preliminarily sintered at 900-1000 C and fluoride-containing additive (0.5-1%). Glass additive contains calcium, silicon, and boron oxides at 1:1:1 ratio. EFFECT: reduced sintering temperature with no loss in strength characteristics. 1 tbl, 2 ex
