titleOfInvention Base for repellent creams
abstract FIELD: means for protection against stings of bloodsucking and Arthropoda; may be used in cosmetic industry. SUBSTANCE: base for repellent creams contains solvent, which is 0.13-9.01-% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol; cross- linking agent which is copolymer of acryl and β --phenylacryl acids and their derivatives of rare-joined ester links of ethyleneglycol. Composition has the following ratio of ingredients, mas.%: aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, 94.87-99.33; copolymer, 0.67-5.13. EFFECT: reduced toxicity; increased storage life up to 2-3 years; higher repellent activity due to formation of film with specific properties providing definite speed of repellent evaporation. 3 tbl
