abstract FIELD: veterinary science, medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of new chemotherapeutic agent Abactan-D (pefloxacin phosphonacetate of the formula - C 19 H 25 FN 3 O 8 P). New chemopreparation shows virus-static, bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect, good water solubility and used for treatment and prophylaxis of infectious laryngotracheitis in poultry. Preparation shows effectiveness, it is synthesized from native raw and does not show embryotoxic, teratogenic and immunodepressive effects and does not effect on reproductive function of poultries. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of new preparation. 3 tbl
