titleOfInvention Method of preparing lithium chloride
abstract FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes technology of preparation of lithium chloride by reacting lithium carbonate with chlorine. In this case, lithium carbonate is used in the form of aqueous suspension at lithium carbonate to water weight ratio of 1:8 to 1:10. Process is carried out in two-step absorber till lithium chloride content in liquid phase does not exceed 80 g/l in the presence of iron-nickel catalyst. Yield of lithium chloride is 98.7-98.9%. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 1 dwg, 4 tbl
