FIELD: recovery of noble metals from refractory sulfide ores. SUBSTANCE: method includes stages of separation of clays and fine fractions from ground refractory sulfide ore, formation of paste of refractory sulfide ore, bioleaching of heap for oxidation of iron sulfides and hydrometallurgical treatment of ore after biological leaching for recovery of noble metals. Should separated clays and fine fractions contain reasonable amount of noble metals, these materials may be additionally treated to recover noble metals.
