abstract | FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is aimed at substantial reduction of permeability of highly watered interlayers by increasing structural viscosity and thermal stability of compound being injected. According to method, compound to be injected is based on water-soluble polymer, inorganic acid, and cross-linking agents and it additionally contains water glass. Before introducing salt of polyvalence metal into water solution of polymer, water glass is proportioned and Ph value of reaction mass is brought to 0.5-2.5 by addition of acid. Water solution of anionic polymer, water glass and salt of polyvalence metal is taken at following relation of components, mass%: water-soluble anionic polymer 0.01-5.0, water glass 1.5-8.0, salt of polyvalence metal 0.001-0.06, water - the balance.
