abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves opening anterior capsule outside the peripheral part of ring of adhesion to posterior capsule. Lens mass is sucked off and the posterior chamber is cleaned. Fibrous formation is layer-by-layer thinned in optic zone. Working at the next layer begins with examining its relief and determining maximum recess place. Instrument is introduced into this place and preparation is carried out in horizontal plane. The selected layer is separated over a circular zone having at least 4 mm diameter without violating the boundary of the fibrous formation in its peripheral part. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment with capsule sack repaired.
