titleOfInvention Method for determination of osmium (viii) in sulfate solutions
abstract FIELD: determination of osmium (VIII) in acid technological solutions, in natural water and in sewage. SUBSTANCE: method is based on sorption of osmium as OsO 4 . The process is carried out with the help of silica gel being modified by alkyl thiourea. Thus colored compounds are prepared on the surface of sorbent. Intensity of coloring is used as analytic signal during photocolorimetry. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 1 tbl
