titleOfInvention Method for recovering oxalate mother liquors of transuranium elements
abstract FIELD: cleaning liquid nitric wastes from transuranic elements. SUBSTANCE: method involves destruction of nitric acid oxalate ions contained in mother liquor in catalyst environment; manganese ions are used as catalyst. To this end, mother liquor is brought in contact with silica gel containing manganese ions. Liquor is concentrated by evaporation to dryness. Then silica gel is brought in contact with new batch of oxalate mother liquor and evaporation procedure is repeated. Best manganese content on silica gel is 3-20 mg/g. Solid-to-liquid ratio of source phases is chosen so that with this ratio being 1:1, complete destruction of oxalate ions is attained.
