titleOfInvention Method of reconditioning of converter lining in hot state and device for its embodiment
abstract FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, more specifically, oxygen-converter production process. SUBSTANCE: method includes neutralization of slag prior to heat tapping by introduction into converter of neutralizing component with formation of neutral slag in form of homogeneous liquid phase. After steel tapping and leaving a part of slag, lining surface of converter is coated with slag lining by preliminary foaming of slag by jets of neutral blowing agent to form gas-slag mixture which is swirled coaxially to converter body. Some versions of the method includes treatment of swirled flow of gas-slag mixture with wave energy field set up during efflux of jets of gaseous neutral blowing agent. Additionally blowing agent may be supplied simultaneously from top and from below by counter flows. In so doing, flow rate of gaseous neutral blowing agent through bottom lances is increased or decreased in compliance with moving of the lance in height of converter. Nozzles of overhead lance of the device are oriented tangentially and inclined to its axis and uniformly arranged over circumference. Converter bottom has bottom lances. Overheads lance is additionally provided with generator of high-frequency vibrations and may be made multitier with unequal inclination of jets at different tiers. Nozzles of the most top tier shall be oriented radially. Central nozzle may be located in lance lower part. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 24 cl, 14 dwg, 4 tbl
