abstract |
FIELD: medical biotechnology; production of antitoxic antipertussoid immunoglobulin. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by subjecting specific serous immunoglobulin to fractional precipitation with ethanol. Inventive novelty of method resides in that starting material (donor serum, blood plasma) is selected in the amount of antitoxic antipertussoid antibodies not less 80 units/ml. When preparation is used for treatment of whooping cough of small children, therapeutic effect is observed on 7th-9th day in 87-90% cases. EFFECT: enhanced therapeutic effect. 3 tbl |
