FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: paper contains lignocellulose fibers, conventional sizing agent, and zeolite with hydrophobic properties characterizing by content of residual butanol less than 0.5% at zeolite to sizing agent ratio 0.003 to 500. Method includes preparing suspension based on lignocellulose fibers, adding conventional sizing agent and zeolite followed by dehydration. The latter is effected in presence of zeolite.
