abstract FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes alkylpyridine derivatives, more particularly cobalt chloride-2-methylpyridine complex monohydrate of empirical formula: . New chemical compound is obtained in ethanol at 25-78 C. Yield is 98%, melting point is 251-252 C. Found %: C 27.7; H 3.5; N 5.4; Cl 27.3, C 6 H 9 NO 2 Cl 2 Co. Calculated %: C 28.05; H 3.53; N 5.45; Cl 27.60. Unlike best data of prior art compounds. The claimed chemical compounds enhances total acetylene restoring activity of root peat tubercles, plant bulk, amount of beans per plant, total grain yield by 14, 32, 59 and 37% respectively. EFFECT: improved properties of the title compound.
