titleOfInvention | Method for diagnosing shock in cases of surgical pathology |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking venous blood and urine samples and examining them in special apparatus during 5 min. Heparin is added to 1 ml of blood in the amount of 50 units per 1 ml. The amount of 100 mcl of blood treated with heparin and heated in advance in thermostat to 38 C is added to physiological salt solution of 7.0-7.2 pH value brought to finished state by adding phosphate buffer (7.4 pH) in 9:1 proportion. The so prepared composition is placed into apparatus cell to record proper Luminal-induced blood cell chemiluminescence and optical sum of luminescence measured during 5 min. Patient blood serum taken in the amount of 0.5 ml is diluted with 20 ml of phosphate buffer solution, placed in thermostated cell of device for measuring chemiluminescence where 37 C temperature condition is supported. Spontaneous luminescence is measured during 1 min and then iron sulfate is added and spontaneous luminescence is measured during 5 min. 20 ml of patient urine is placed into a cell. Its examination method does not differ from one described above. Shock presence is diagnosed from optical sum of blood luminescence dropped down to or below 5 conditional units, optical sum of blood serum luminescence dropped down to or below 15 conditional units and optical sum of urine luminescence dropped down to or below 15 conditional units. EFFECT: wide range of functional applications; enhanced accuracy of method. 5 tbl |
