abstract FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: galvanothermic coating is applied to instrument blade in layers. Thickness of layer is close to but not over length of minimum axis of crystal of material being applied. After application of every layer the latter is deformed by means of striker with contact not exceeding the flexibility limit of material being applied. In this case, striker is driven to reciprocation perpendicularly to instrument edge, and instrument oscillates in plane perpendicular to direction of striker force action with amplitude equal to about half-the contact surface of striker.
