titleOfInvention Method for sorptive corporeal detoxication in animals affected with experimentally induced diffuse purulent peritonitis
abstract FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: method is used gel-like sorbent based on cross-linked dextrane with molecular weight of feed material equals to 60-10 thou. dalton and contained, covalently immobilized in matrix, antibiotic, namely, polymixin B (affine sorbent). Alternatively, dextrane matrix may contain, covalently immobilized, goat-derived antistaphylococcic gamma-globulin (immune sorbent), both sorbents used for lavage of infected peritoneal cavity. EFFECT: increased efficiency in carrying out lavage of infected closed cavities; increased degree of organism's general detoxication.
