abstract | FIELD: medicine; hepatology. SUBSTANCE: method is based on determining de Ritis coefficient which is indicative of aspartate aminotransferase level-to-alanine aminotransferase level ratio, and which reflects hyperfermentation genesis, the latter is characteristic of different stages of pathologic process in liver. Novelty of method resides in fact that patient's lacrimal fluid, rather than blood serum is subjected to analysis. Method makes it possible to prognosticate aggravation of pathologic process in liver several months before detection of prognostically valid, unfavorable changes in biochemical parameters of patient's blood and before appearance of clinical manifestations of hepatocirrhosis symptoms. Patient's lacrimal fluid sample is taken for test by noninvasive method. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl |
