abstract | FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: packing with particle size less than 3 mm, consisting of carbonaceous and aluminosilicate substances impregnated with inorganic fluorine compounds and powdered inorganic additive, in particular, kaolin, calcium sulfate, or their mixture at ratio as high as 50%, is fed into gas flow heated to predetermined temperature T and recycling in upper part of reactor to form suspension. Contact time of solid particles of mixture with recycling gas is adjusted in such a way as to heat mixture, prior to be withdrawn from bottom part of reactor, to preset temperature t and temperature in bottom part of reactor T o is maintained in accordance with inequality T>T o ≥t. Gas stream escaping reactor is cooled, freed from stabilized residue, dedusted, and released into atmosphere. According to invention, temperature T of gas stream in upper part of reactor is maintained within the range from 700 to 1100 C, and concentration of suspension in the same space in 0.1-3 kg/cu.m range, while mixture, prior to be withdrawn, heats to temperature from 400 to 750 C.
