abstract FIELD: coolant liquids. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes coolant liquid based on ethylene glycol an aqueous solution without nitrite, nitrate, benzoate, phosphate and molybdate. Liquid has additionally high-boiling fractions M-2. Coolant liquid has, wt.-%: ethylene glycol, 54.50-65.50; sodium tetraborate, 0.1-0.3; benzotriazole, 0.35-1.00; high-boiling fractions M-2, 0.5-0.7; and water, the balance. Coolant liquid is inert with respect to steel, cast iron, aluminium alloys and solder. Its corrosion activity with respect to copper and brass is 5.0-7.3-fold less as compared with the known liquids. Rubber swelling is decreased by 4.8-fold. Liquid does not show foaming. EFFECT: enhanced quality and property of coolant, improved ecology. 4 tbl
