titleOfInvention Apparatus for crushing tubular powders
abstract FIELD: mechanical treatment of explosives. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has bed, loading unit and cutting unit with drive. The loading unit is made in the form of belt conveyer and a pack of plates spaced from one another to a distance equal or exceeding diameter of powder tube and connected with each other and with the bed by a rod. The cutting unit is made in the form of two rolls installed horizontally on the bed and provided with riffles cut on their surfaces with a pitch of 3 to 20 mm to a depth of 3 to 7 mm. The riffles feature triangular profile with vertex angle ranging from 15 to 90 deg. The rolls are so mounted that the riffles and spaces between the riffles on both the roll surfaces present mirror reflection of each other. Sprinkling unit introduced additionally into the apparatus design is essentially a perforated tube positioned in the powder loading zone in parallel with the rollers and associated through a pump with additionally introduced powder reception unit having a perforated vessel. Another embodiment of the apparatus is characterized by that the loading unit is made in the form of a belt conveyer, support table and pressure rollers with drive and with cutting unit rolls installed vertically.
