abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves rinsing mouth with sterile physiological salt solution, taking samples, culturing and identifying microorganisms in oral cavity using standard set of media. Microflora is taken from local parts of mucosa and dental prostheses directly into sterilized metal tubes having nutrient medium inside. The device has sterilized reservoir being metal tube placed into tube holder bound to head and handle. The handle is threadedly axially rotatably connected to head stem. Tube holder is pivotally attached to the head. The head is elastic to enable friction in the hinge to be adjustable. The tube has spout-like member with sharp edges for localizing sample. Hinged joints connecting the head and tube holder are manufactured as elastic half-ring plate having the tube holder suspended on two half-axles inside the plate. One axle has thread and adjusting screw. EFFECT: improved quality of samples; enhanced reliability of analysis results. 3 cl, 7 dwg
