FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: simultaneous production of alkyl-tert-butyl ethers and 1-butene involves feeding of stream of C 4 hydrocarbons into etherification block, recycling or residual stream into the same block after practicable separation of 1-butene and conversion of residual butenes into isobutene which takes place in isomerization block.
