FIELD: medicine; pediatrics; infantile coloproctology; treatment of postoperative encopresis (incontinence of feces) in children operated for atresia of anus and rectum. SUBSTANCE: sick child is prescribed to undergo course of generally invigorating therapy, including administering into child's rectum VITAON preparation in form of aqueous or oily emulsion in dose 5-10 ml daily, emulsion concentration being progressively increased from 10 to 50%.
