titleOfInvention | Method for making early stage differential diagnosis of acute mandibular periostitis and osteomyelitis in children |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering radiopaque agent combined with anesthetic agent in 10:1 proportion into three points: lesion focus and boundary healthy zones in the amount of 1 ml using needleless injector. Osteomyelitis being the case, radiopaque agent accumulates due to disturbed microcirculation in the lesion focus in contrast to healthy regions from which it escapes in 30 min. Delay in radiopaque agent discharge from lesion focus points out to osteomyelitis process being present. Periostitis being the case, radiopaque agent is discharged in known time. EFFECT: accelerated diagnosis method. |
