titleOfInvention Method for exposure of fission material to monoenergetic neutrons
abstract FIELD: nuclear power industry. SUBSTANCE: fission reaction is run simultaneously with thermonuclear fusion. In this case neutrons generated by thermonuclear fusion decrease critical mass of fission material while fusion reaction provide additional heating of hydrogen plasma. This results in increased stability of thermonuclear fusion. Since fission power gives only small part of total generated nuclear power, output of radioactive fission products is decreased. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
