titleOfInvention | Isothermic method of measurement of energy of combustion of fuel and other organic compounds |
abstract | FIELD: determination of combustion energy of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels during their production and consumption, scientific research for development of new types of fuels. SUBSTANCE: phase transition "liquid-gas" is used in method and quantity of heat spent for this phase transition is measured. Phase transition is carried out under isothermic conditions in thermosiphon or heat tube with Peltier's elements located in condensation zone by supply of electric energy to Peltier's elements and by keeping pressure of vapor of working liquid constant. Value of combustion energy is found by formula , where Q is determined combustion energy; η is Peltier's coefficient of given bank of thermocouples at boiling temperature of working liquid; 1 is strength of current supplied to Peltier's elements to maintain isothermic conditions during period of combustion of sample; t н and t к are moments of switching on and off of electric current for compensation during combustion of sample; Q x energy supplied to Peltier's elements during idle run of heat tube or thermosiphon during the same time period. EFFECT: improved authenticity of given isothermic method. 7 dwg |
