Method of preparing the biocompatible polymeric material |
abstract |
FIELD: polymers. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing collagen, water-soluble ethylene-unsaturated monomer and cross-linking agent in an aqueous medium followed by its radiation irradiation at pH = 3.2-5.0, at 30-42 C. After irradiation polymer is washed out with physiological solution at 25-80 C and kept in an equilibrated saline solution. Preferably to use collagen isolated from agriculture animal eye scleras, fibrillar collagen or a mixture of fibrillar with atelocollagen. Method is used for implants preparing (intraocular and contact lens) in ophthalmology. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 4 cl |
