abstract FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: mammary tumor cells were treated by light and specific inhibitor of enzymatic conversion of protoporphyrinogen to protoporphyrin-IX catalyzed by protoporphyrin oxidase in the presence of porphyrin. Method involves the use of pharmaceutical composition containing specific inhibitor of enzymatic conversion of protoporphyrinogen to protoporphyrin-IX catalyzed by protoporphyrin oxidase. Index I 50 for protoporphyrin oxidase is less 1 mcM and negative reductive-oxidizing potential is above -500 mV. EFFECT: improved method of tumor cells destruction. 11 cl, 5 tbl, 1 dwg
