FIELD: production of synthetic rubber, polymers and plastics for subsequent manufacture of tyres, rubber products and cables. SUBSTANCE: production of butadiene polymers and butadiene/styrene copolymers is carried out by continuous (co)polymerization of monomers in hydrocarbon solvent medium in presence of lithium-organic initiating agent, substituted benzene and modifying additive. Method is inventively novel in that toluene, xylene, mesitylene or cumene are used as substituted benzene. Said modifying additive is alkali metal styrylphenolate of general formula OMeR , wherein Me= K or Na, one of RR 1 , RR 2 , RR 3 is α-methylbenzyl, while two others are selected from group consisting of a-methylbenzyl, hydrogen, methyl, tert-butyl, octyl, nonyl, cumyl, at molar ratio of substituted benzyl-to-alkali metal styrylphenolate equal to 400-20000, alkali metal styrylphenolate being taken in amount 0.5-4.0 mmole per 1 kg monomers. Aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon is used as solvent. EFFECT: formation of insoluble high-molecular polymer (gel), consequently, blocking up of polymerization equipment can be prevented. 1 tbl |
